Our client is a public listed group of companies in Bursa Malaysia involved in the manufacturing,trading, travel & retail industry. For the Finance Manager portfolio, the candidate will be in-charged of 2 of their subsidiaries involved in manufacturing and trading industry. The first company is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and is one of the industry’s leading manufacturers and trading company of disposable food and packaging products, and also the largest in South East Asia. Another subdidiary has emerged as the leading kaolin producer in the region, capturing a substantial share of the Malaysian and South East Asian market - a remarkable achievement that is a direct result of the company's progressive policies. Currently, they are inviting suitable candidates to fulfill the Finance Manager position, based at Kota Damansara. Finance Manager (Selangor - Kota Damansara (near Ikea)) Responsibilities: Reporting to the Group CEO/ED, functional reporting to the GM, Finance To supervise about 10 staff in the finance areas Development and implementation of internal control, process management and improvement, policy and procedures Implementation/improvement of computerised accounting system and management information system Budgetary controls, preparation of forecast and projections Working capital management and tax planning Handle manufacturing accounts and statistics compilation Statutory audits and reporting, familiar with financial reporting system Requirements: Degree in Accounting, preferably with professional qualification, e.g. ACCA or CIMA Minimum 6-7 years experience with some external audit experience Familiar in trading & manufacturing industry and experienced in ERP/computerised accounting system The position require quite proactive personality with the capability of people management Minimal travelling is required Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate.
