  • The overall job purpose of this position is to assist the Tax Manager to:
    • Plan, develop and implement measures to ensure that the Company is tax efficient, minimizes tax risks, complies with all statutory tax obligations and promptly resolves of all tax issues.
    • Update and advise the Company of changes in tax law and to ensure that the Company's annual tax returns comply with tax legislation/rulings/guidelines.
    • Monitor the Company’s tax cash flow management to avoid any adverse tax exposure.


  • Reports to Tax Manager, the candidate is responsible to assist the Tax Manager to:
    • Minimize of tax liability through good tax planning and management by identifying company specific tax issues and planning to ensure appropriate savings in tax.
    • Review and submit all statutory tax reports & obligations, annual tax returns and tax computations within the required time limits and ensure that all tax queries and issues are dealt within a timely manner.
    • Promptly clear outstanding tax backlog and update tax record and solving disputes on all tax and duties (withholding tax, VAT, corporate tax, real property gains tax, stamps duties, customs duties, etc.) with various authorities.
    • Aim for zero tax penalty, analyze and report fund movement.
    • Liase with DGT and/or custom official due to compliance of tax and/or custom obligations.
    • Ensure tax reporting to Paris Finance/Tax team is made on a timely basis and of good quality.
    • Liaise with various parties and external consultants (where applicable) to ensure a defensible transfer pricing policy for the Company, consistent with the commercial objectives of the Company.
    • Provide consultation, advice and guidance in the area of taxation to all expatriates to ensure proper disclosure of expatriates’ taxable income in annual return.
    • Advise the Company on any reorganization of business, corporate structure, tax structured financing/refinancing scheme.
    • Ensure internal controls in respective areas of responsibility are in place, operational and are fully complied with.
    • Managing safety function in the respective department by ensuring a safe working condition in the working location to support the company's policy to achieve target zero accident.
    • Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Must possess at least Bachelor degree from recognized university majoring in Accounting/Finance/Tax/Fiscal.
  • Having minimum 2 years experience as tax consultant in tax consultant company or 4 years experience as tax supervisor in MNC.
  • Hold a Certified National Tax Consultant issued by IKPI (Brevet A & B) is preferred.
  • Good written & spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
